REFERRALS
No referral is required to access Physiotherapy services. However, referrals from GPs, Specialists and Allied Health providers are welcome.
Private, Medicare-rebated (often known as ‘Care plan’ referrals), WorkCover, DVA, MAIC/ CTP, NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed), My Aged Care Providers and pre-employment assessment referrals are accepted. Please note that GPCCMP, WorkCover, DVA, CTP, NDIS & MyAgedCare patients must have an open and valid referral/ certificate and an accepted claim for treatment.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
After your appointment is confirmed, you will receive correspondence from us. This letter will confirm all details of your consultation including fees.
Please fill out all forms to the best of your ability and call us if you have any questions or concerns.
You may be required to complete questionnaires prior to your appointment with us. These assist us in understanding your condition and help us to track your progress through rehabilitation. They are a requirement for best practice rehabilitation. Where possible, we use electronic forms which allow completion in advance and offsite. If you have difficulty, please contact us and we will assist you.

WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear clean, comfortable clothing which is suitable for examination. Clothing should also be suitable for exercise participation.
Amenities exist on site if you would prefer to bring a change in clothing. Please allow adequate time before your appointment.
FEES
Generally, Physiotherapy services are not subsidised by Medicare. The exception to this is a valid referral from a General Practitioner under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (previously known as an Extended Primary Care Plan or EPC). If you are eligible, you may be entitled to a rebate for a limited number of sessions per year.
Private Health Insurance rebates vary according to policy; you should speak with your Private Health Insurer for details on your rebate. DVA, WorkCover, NDIS, CTP and My Aged Care referrals are billed directly to the relevant organisation.
